When I meet that someone and we decide to get married, the only person, aside from myself, who has any right to tell me who I can marry is that guy I’m going to marry. NOT some person with a stick up their butt whom I’m never going to meet. Kind of kills the notion of freedom and justice for all, no?
And, you know, with that stick up their butt…maybe they shouldn’t be saying no to gay marriage after all…
So, This happened out of boredom/intrigue/peer pressure. And yes, the hair is actually darker. (Taken with instagram)
Yes, I cried. So good. (Taken with instagram)
It doesn’t get light fast enough in my kitchen whine whine.
I’m off to try to convince people to let me play My First Surgery on their pets, yaaaay.

(via thetardis)
So I call up the guy who hit my car the other day, and he says he’ll bring me the money to fix it this morning. I give him my name and address, then go outside to wait for him.
A man awkwardly looks around then walks up.
Man: What’s your name?
Me: Nick.
Man: No Nick? I’m looking for Nick.
Me: I’m Nick.
Man: Nick? No Nick?
Me: No…I’m Nick.
***This went on for a couple minutes until finally he was like “OOOh, you’re Nick?”
Then he handed me the money, I shook his hand, and he walked away.
I didn’t realize my name was that hard to understand…
ha. awesome.
reblogging this for Michelle (@fartwho) and also because it made me giggle a lot this morning.

The Perfect Sleep
You know that moment when you wake up after having the perfect sleep? I’m not talking about 8-10 hours, or how ever many hours of sleep we are supposed to get. I’m talking about after any number of hours waking up and feeling fully rested and rejuvenated and ready to take on whatever comes your way. I’ve had that feeling after a half hour of sleep and after 14 hours (that was a good day…but that’s another story).
I didn’t come close to acing science way back in the HS day, but I’m pretty sure it’s when you wake up at just the right moment of the sleep cycle. It’s a pretty great feeling, and I always feel happy/content/positive during it. Even if it only lasts a few seconds, it is a natural high. And that makes it to number 10 of the positive list.
90 more days of this! and I already know what 100 will be….let’s see if I can remember it in 90 days. ha.
awesome.
Favorite childhood movies becoming musicals.
The current movie to musical is “NEWSIES.” For years I’ve been saying I wish it was an actual stage musical. Having no means or clout or any of that to make it happen myself, it was just a wish. And then it happened. Workshopped in my homestate of New Jersey (so proud!) at a theatre I performed at! (in a competition and it was 2 chorus songs, but whatev…been there, done that Newsies!) And now it’s on Broadway. This is legit people.
And the best thing is, I’ve worked so much overtime the past several months, I was able to splurge a bit and I am flying home to see it in just over 6 weeks! I’m pretty darn excited.
The funny thing is, this has happened before. Mainly it’s been Disney. The Lion King (which I still have yet to see), now Newsies, Aladdin (It’s at Disneyland, but it’s a stage show so it still counts). The ones that people may try to discount, but totally still count, are Jurassic Park the Musical and Harry Potter the Musical. Both are parodies, yes, but are still full musicals and, while not having sat through each, the thought that they exist/existed makes me giddy. You should google them right now. Or, click the titles, they’re links to the youtube pages. You won’t regret it.
Basically, I just like it when things I wish would happen actually happen. Now it just needs to happen to my own personal (and professional) life, and we’ll be all set.
But that’s positive number 9!
awesome
