I will say, this weekend was a lot of fun, but thoroughly exhausting.
I worked as a PA on an event for the Festival of New American Musicals this weekend working mainly as chaperone to the finalists. That meant from Thursday at around 11am to Sunday at 1pm I was on call, carting the kids around, and keeping tabs on their entire stay. Except when they decided I was needed backstage for the show at the last minute, so there was that too.
They were a great bunch, and the event went really well. I just forgot how exhausting 15 hour days were, especially when you put 4 in a row. It was worth it though.
This is not the first major random even I’ve worked a random tech job on, I’ve Stage Managed and PA’s other events. I think I’m going to do a survivor’s guide to events vlog…one of the what, 4 that I’m behind now? I have them planned out, I just have to find the time to sit down and film them.
I’ve been busy! It’s a good thing!

Chromatic Typewriter Prints
Tyree Callahan has recycled (or upcycled, perhaps) a classic 1937 Underwood typewriter by replacing letters with sponges soaked across the spectrum with bright yellows, reds, blues and combinations thereof.

Production Meetings Galore!
I have 2 production meetings on Saturday. TWO. For two different projects.
One is a theatre gig I’m pretty excited about, the other is a short I’m pretty excited about.
I’m also pretty excited about Saturday…It’s like I’m really in the business or something…

P.S. I am way behind on Videos. I’ve kind of been all over the place the past 2 weeks…so if I don’t get one this week, I’ll hopefully have 2 for you next week! WHAT!
